Wenn am 30ten Oktober Danny & Janatic von den lebenden Toten zurückkehren, haben sie ein ganz besonderes REWIND Halloween Special für euch im Gepäck. Auf ihrer Europa-Tour macht keine geringere als MISS YELLOW aus Hong Kong halt in Kassel, um zusammen mit den Rewind-Hosts Danny & Janatic das A.R.M. zum beben zu bringen. MISS YELLOW- die nebenbei auch als Model und Schauspielerin in Asien berühmt wurde- ist mittlerweile Hong Kongs No.1# female DJ und legte bereits mit anderen DJ Größen wie DJ A-Trak, Roxy Cottontail und 2manydjs auf. Zudem ist sie seit einiger Zeit Teil der vom TimeOut Magazine HK preisgekrönten Party-Reihe „Hype-Nasty“, bei der sie zusammen mit Kid Fresh und Enso an den Decks steht. Nun steht nach ihrer letztjährigen Australien-Tour endlich Europa auf dem Tourplan und so präsentieren euch Danny & Janatic wohl einen der besten weiblichen DJs auf diesem Planeten.

Hate it, or love it Part II

Mmmh, I´m still in two minds about Uffies new single ` A.D.D. S.U.V.`. Produced by Mirwais, featuring vocals by Pharrell Williams. Nice beat, nice feature, but something is missing. Maybe to much electro-pop?! Should I hate it, or luv it?! I don´t know, so it`s your decision.

Uffie returns to the club scene this summer with A.D.D SUV a banging electro crunk monster that sees the Miami-born, Paris-based rapper and future icon, step up to front of the queue 6am hand in hand with fellow rhyme spinner Pharrell.

Poking fun at the rap fraternity's obsession with possessions, particularly their cars, Uffie was certain she wanted Pharell involved when the track was coming together; I was so excited when I was introduced to him in Tokyo a few years back that I knew if there was ever the right track I would have to ask him to be on it. This was that track and, fortunately, he said yes.

If the dream team of Madonna-collaborator Mirwais, rap-icon Pharrell and Parisian scene-makers Ed Banger wasn't enough, legendary house-giant Armand Van Helden took the track on a journey back to his roots with the Banging summer anthem remix that is currently hanging tough at No. 3 in the Beatport Charts. Not to leave the underground lacking, the UK's producer du jour, Hudson Mohawke (Warp) drops synthetic bleeps into a 2 step garage rhythm transforming the track into a thoroughly enjoyable and mind-bending trip through the electronic jungle.
